Getting here

Car

Street parking is available in Rathdowne St and McArthur Place where the 2 hour parking meters take coins and credit card. The clinic is a 300 metre walk from the Lygon Court/ Safeway carpark in Drummond St.

Bus

Bus route 250/251/253 from Garden City to Northlands or Latrobe University stops immediately at the doorstep. Route 200/201/203/205 travel along Elgin St from the city to Bulleen and Doncaster.

Trams

Catching a tram from the city along Swanston St, stop at Melbourne University stop and it is a 500 m walk along Faraday St to Rathdowne St.
In addition if you are on trams 1 or 8 from the city and you continue past the Melbourne University stop around the Elgin St corner to stop 112 at junction Elgin St and Lygon St it is a 300 m or 4 minute walk along Elgin St to the junction of Rathdowne and Elgin St and the practice.

Disabled / Pram Access

The front entrance at 88 Rathdowne Street has two small (8 cm) steps separated by about one metre of paved verandah. The front door is heavy and inward opening and assistance opening the door is possible by ringing the front door bell.

Wheelchair entry is available via a mobile ramp at the front door. Reception staff will set up the ramp either by phoning 03 8330 3900 or ringing the door bell. There are three downstairs consulting rooms and treatment room and toilets are also downstairs. Please indicate to staff your requirements for downstairs access when booking to see a doctor or psychologist as there is no lift to access the second storey.

There is room to park prams if required under the stairwell. There is also a nappy change table next to the toilets.
